Mobo lights?

My ASUS ROG strix Z270E mobo has these lights on it. They don't turn off after the system turns off, but if I turn off the psu then it will turn off. This is a new build and my first pc (for a first timer it wasn't too bad).

OK so I plug it in and lights go on, I press the power button and then the rest go on (fans and case lights). I turn the pc off and lights stay on. I am in Utah at the moment and am not home. I built it Christmas eve when I got my gpu. So I will use the advice when I return. Thanks!

I've seen quite a few boards that have lights on them that don't turn off, if plugged into power. However, for your particular board, you can go into your UEFI and change the settings to turn them off.

Now, since I have limited space the viewing panel is on the side, it doesn't bother me as much, it's just that it's hard to sleep with the pulsing lights.

So I got home. Turns out I can't find how to turn off the lights, even my keyboard and mouse are still lighting up, while everything else is "silent".
