I have a Chaintech VNF3-250 and a Athlon64 754 3000+. It has run at around 2.5 ghz for years with no issues till last week.
I booted it up for the day and it acted like it was refusing to POST. Fearing the worse I reset the BIOs with the jumper and booted up like a charm. So I put my OC back on and rebooted. Agian, didn't want to post.
At this point I'm thinking it is prepairing to die. So I reset agian and agian booted like normal. During testing I OCed the FSB just 1 mhz and agian, refused to post. Getting frustrated I left it like it was for about 10 mins, I come back and it is in windows.
Apperently with any OC it will take 5 minutes to post. When it does finally reach windows it runs like it always has.
I already reflashed my bios and have tried several older versions, all do the same thing.
Any ideas? Only difference is about 2 weeks ago I bought a new case that should be cooling it more.
