Mobo/procc upgrade

So I'm upgrading my mobo/procc/ram

Ram is gonna be twinx pc-3200 and that's decided, however I'm not sure if I should go intel or amd for proccessor.

If I go amd it's gonna be Abit NF7-S rev2.0 and Barton 2500+.

If I go intel it's gonna be a P4 2.4C, but what mobo? and why? One of the thing I could imagine missing going intel is Soundstorm.

EDIT: The price of the mobo will vary depending on moddle, the p4 is however twice the price of the AMD here in Sweden. Oh, Yes I'm gonna O/C with a slk900

Why not just upgrade what you have now, go with a xp2400, 512mb ddr2100/2700 and a hd with 8mb of cache and 7200rpm.
This whole upgrade will cost you about $200 and you could still sell your old stuff and only be out about $100.

For a $100 your rig will be screamin!!

Actually the rig specs under "my rig" are inaccurate -

When I finish my upgrades it will look something like this

I already have:
Xaser III (YES it was damn overpriced)
Radeon 9700Pro
Lite-ON CDRW
Antec TruePower 430

Getting:
Dual Raptor SATA raid0
(Some big storage drive)
1gig Twinx PC-3200Ram
(processor)
(mobo)

Now the only thing realy keeping me looking at AMD is price and the nForce2 chipset that I have grown a bit fond of, despite my hate for nVidia

If you can afford it, go 2.4C and Abit IS7 or IS7-G... the price of the 2500+ and NF2 motherboards are tempting though

Ok, what about sound if I go P4?

What soundcard should I use with my Senhiesser HD500? Taking for granted that the IS7-G/IC7-G onboard sound won't mach soundstorm!
