Recently installed epox 8kta3, had dual boot 2k/98, 98 got up and running fine, 2k wouldn't boot for luv or money, i tried several recovery methods, gave up and re-installed
OS's usually don't appreciate it if you switch mobo's. If the devices on the new mobo are similar to those on the old board, then it'll probably boot and install the necessary drivers for the changed components. Else chances are that it won't even boot. Especially OS's like Win NT 4.1 and 5 are sensitive to this kind of changes.
