MOD, I just encountered this confirmed troll again

Michael [redacted] aka smogee, deliverance, gringle, peliwo

This was a famous troll about 2 and half yrs ago and I was trolled of a BP6 and Dual Celeron 300 combo,
I just encountered this person again while I was playing AAO, still use same screen name smogee, I tested
him by asking if his name is Michael, he was surprised and admit it's him. I then began bashing him
about various troll jobs he did 2 and half yrs ago and he simply give me one lie after the other, like it's his
friend who use his name, he has no idea what I was talking about, he never been on any trade forum, etc.

After I disclose his true identity and provide infos he even try to votekick me off, I think this person haven't
learn nor grow up and could operate under another assume name therefore I think it's better to alert all our
current member about this troll again.

Just like most typical trolls, they never admit to doing wrong. I'm sure the mods are keeping a close watch for him in case he was to try and return here.

He should obviously be banned if any one of his numerous names is encountered on here. Of course, we don't know if he has other usernames aside from those that you mentioned, so perhaps he is around here and we don't know about it. Anyway, wouldn't this be better in FS/FT? I admit to knowing nothing much about trading, since I've never been in FS/FT much except enough to know the basic rules.

Yeah, his name is on the troll list in the FS/FT forum, but since he has not surface for so long,
I think most ppl will not be aware if he uses another screen name and use a friend's name &
address, I did a little search via google and found smogee is still around some other discussion
forum, so that's what alert me that he still operate online in various online community.

Once you are a troll, unless you come clean and pay your debt, you are always a troll.

If you PM the Moderator with the IP on the header of the email they can do a current IP search to see if he has registered again using that IP. The only problem with Canadians is that many use Rogers and other IP that share the same IP address so it would be a shot in the dark but it may be possible to narrow him down if he is posting here. If he only registered and did not post he wont show however.

A troll is a bad trader, they con, they lie, they disappear, they will do anything to avoid paying for what others have sold/traded to them.

I will try to get his IP but it looks like he has switched to hotmail and yahoo mail for all the online forum contacts.

EDIT: Perhaps if you were to find him I could play along as someone wanting to buy something from him, and catch his IP and he can then be reported for his pathetic cruel cowardly actions.

The only info available is what was stated in the first post.

This thread was last active over 15 years ago, and the OP (original poster) has not logged in for close to 3 years. I think this matter is finished at this point (as much as it can ever be with known trolls).
