Hey I can use my PocketPC to remote desktop to my desktop as well...what do you know...and my computer has a 2.0 Ghz 64 bit processor, 2Gb of RAM, and a 6600GT...what does your XBox have?

how big is your computer? how much does it weigh? can you take it to a friends house in a backpack and have a great time? can you easily play four player mario kart or smash brothers on it? how does it look sitting in your living room?

just saying...xbox has its advantages, obviously its not as powerful as new pcs...

My MCE box isn't much bigger than an XBox. And yes, I have all sorts of emulators, launched from the MCE shell, with wireless controllers. And it looks a HELL of a lot better than an XBox! Can you record TV shows and burn them to dvd all with a remote with your XBox?

No, but again can your MCE box play xbox games and cost as little as an xbox?

I have no desire to play XBox games! HA!

Can your XBox play PC games?

BTW, my MCE box was mostly made out of spare parts, so it really didn't cost much at all.

hehe...I was gonna say that...my mini case is smaller than my xbox, granted it isn't my most powerful, but it still is faster than my XBox...oh...and they make plenty of games for computers...don't forget that

I have:

1) Media Server PC
2) Full Blown Home Theater PC
3) Modded Xbox

I used to use the xbox to stream all my movies, AVI's, MPEG's, MP3's, DIVX, etc.... to my big screen TV. Not all ppl want a PC next to thier TV or can afford 2 PC's.

Think about it, if you have a PC in your office, you can setup a modded xbox to stream your stuff to the living room TV. A very cheap solution compared to building a full blown PC.

However, I decided to go ahead and build an HTPC dedicated for watching videos and playing games.

Now, I just use my xbox to play xbox games or play my emu's. Thats bout it tho....

Yes. A lot of the homebrew games are open source PC games that people have ported over.

get the lastest xbmc, it has an http server..connect to that page with your axim and you're good to go
