Ok, so i want better air flow in my case. Im running it stock atm, so its got the 120mm exhaust in the rear and a 80mm intake in the front. My case also has the normal clear side window and im happy to cut ANYWHERE in my case so long as it helps
I want quiet-ness and good, no, GREAT air flow! Cost isn't a worry. Also with my mods should i include a fan controller?
So throw some ideas at me. Thanks...

You can put another fan under the top 2 5.25 CD bays. If you only use the top 2 you could install a 120mm fan there, if you use 3, you would have to use an 80mm instead.

cut a hole on the side and mount a 92, or 120mm fan. you could also replace, or undervolt your case fans. replace the stock 6600 HSF to an NV silencer or zalman vf700. get a new, quieter HSF.

Replace the stock fans. Very quiet, dont push much air. Next replace the fans and heatsinks on the video card and CPU. Some good examples of CPU heatsinks are: Arctic Cooling Freezer 64 pro, Scythe Ninja, SI-120, XP-120(not as good as SI-120), Big Typhoon, CPNS 9500, and XP-90. The only great GPU fans are the VF-700 from Zalman, and the Arctic Cooling NV Silencer rev.6. Great fans to buy for the case are: Nexus, Yate Loon, CoolerMaster, Glaciltech(not in USA), and Papst. I konw I will be corrected on some of these selections, but they are very good. Also buy a Zalman fan controller to control the fans. Links will be posted in about 2 hours... I have stuff to do atm...

Your Centurion 5 has great airflow due to all of the vents up front. What you need is to get air moving from the front to the rear. Here is what I would do:

1) Get either the Zalman CNPS9500 or Arctic Cooling Freeze 64 PRO and orient the HSF airflow towards the rear exhaust fan. The Big Typhoon was mentioned, but it swirls the warm air insde the case.

2) Get the the Arctic Cooling NV Silencer. The NV Silencer will draw the cool air by the 80mm intake fan upfront and exhaust straight to the outside of the case. The Zalam VF GPU cooler does keep the GPU cool, but it just spreads the warm air inside the case.

I have the above setup in a Antec P160 case. It is very cool and extremely quiet. With an ambient temp of 23c, my OC'd 3200+ (2.5 ghz) runs about 26c idle and 46c load. Since the front of your case is moslty mesh, you do not want fans that spin too fast, unless you do not mind the noise.

I say put a decent 120mm fan intake in the 5.25" bay area and be done with it.
