This concerns the Hot Deals Thread "Hot Deal on Warplink Wireless Networking kit $29.88 at Office depot".
I had contributed to and subscribed to this thread and now I can't seem to
find it. I have several notices, dated from 1/27 through 2/4, in my e-mail
box that it was contributed to. Was this thread deleted, or perhaps the
server it is on is offline.
I have obtained the help of Office Depot Corporate in pricing the item at my
local OD. I phoned OD offices in Forida yesterday, and a very helpful woman
in Customer Relations is attempting to persuade the local OD manager to sell
me the item for the clearance price that approximately 20 or so Anandtech Hot
Deal Forum posters paid. This is documented in the thread. I came to find
the thread today so I could refer her to it, and I can't find it.
This woman has called the local store once and they have reduced the price
somewhat, but not nearly to the level paid by so many posters. I would very
much like to refer the woman to this thread so that she can see that so many
folks bought the item at the clearance price. Can you help me out? Time is
important as the 14 day OD window for returns and Price Matching runs out tomorrow
Time must be allowed for the lady in Florida to discuss with the
store in Texas. It would be a blessing if you could help us find this thread.
The title listed above is correct. I pasted it from the
subscribtion update notices. I had located the thread before by searching on
"Acer" and "warp", and at other times by searching for my own posts.
This didn't seem like a thread which would be objectionable or damaging. Did
I miss something.
