By that logic we can also say there's an argument between drinking and church, as my textbook I was just going through has those correlated. It's a very obvious trend with liquor stores increasing almost linearly with churches. Does that mean all chruch goers are also drinkers? Maybe, but it's more likely that there's another cause here, and that they aren't connected at all. That's how I feel about this video game violence BS. Correlation DOES NOT indicate causastion, and it seems most people don't get it.
Not all studies are skewed by spurious variables. Since these studies do control for spurious variables, the correlation is statistically significant.
