In GoW 2 the Brumak level was OK, but the game trivialized the Brumaks so much that it was underwhelming. In GoW 1 there is 1 Brumak and he's so tough you run from him. In GoW 2 you kill them by the boatloads.

The tank level was straight up boring...and on Hardcore diff it's stupid, the turret at the stronghold kills you in like 3 shots and shoots before you see it...

Those are the greatest maps in CoD4. Well, of course, those are the two smallest maps, and are the only two my friends and I ever play locally. We'll hop in those maps and do shotguns or snipers only, custom map types like that. Extremely fun running, gunning and laughing can be had on those maps, especially Shipment when you use the semi-auto shotguns. Get a helicopter in there, too, and it's chaos. Love it.

My guess is that if somebody is on a 20+ kill streak, the other team is already being punished. But I agree, I wouldn't mind seeing some kind of distinction for a person with an extremely high kill streak, but only in certain game modes where it will be rare. And maybe make it so that only the first person to reach a 20 kill streak can use it (even though the odds of two people having a 20+ streak in that same match would be even more rare, given this ability is limited to certain game modes as mentioned before).

And to finish it off, if you survive and win a match where somebody got a 20+ streak AND used this ability, then you get a distinction of doing so.

What can I say, I love stats . If they don't track online stats with MW2, I'll be highly disappointed.

Sounds like we need to put together a 2v2 or 3v3 in Killhouse!

Shipment is a blast in FFA with 3 people and 1v1, but beyond that, I can't stand it.

Ya, Shipment really isn't good for more than 3 or 4 people. It's so small that a serious match can only be had 1-on-1, a fun and laughable match can be had with 3-4 people, and any more than 4 players is highly annoying.

Killhouse is about the same as Shipment, except maybe with 6 being the max, as long as everyone doesn't run around all the time, and are more methodical in their approach of hunting down their enemy.

Overgrown is one of my favorite maps.

Mine, too. Honestly, the only ones that I really have problems with are Creek, Chinatown, Wet Work (as a sniper it's a blast, though), and above all else, COUNTDOWN. That map is absolute garbage and a total spam fest.

Crash, Crossfire, Backlot, and Overgrown are my favorites. Bloc is fun, too, but I know I'm the only guy on the planet who enjoys it (snipers for lunch, anyone?).

I like Bloc too. It nearly always gets voted past though. I like to run around with a shotty or smg in the buildings just wasting the snipers.

As I mentioned I typically do pretty well at Bloc, at Overgrown as well...I'm just not a fan.

My biggest fear is that it was a coincidence that I liked the majority of the COD4 maps and IW will create more maps like Countdown, Chinatown, Bog (another one I absolutely can't stand), and Creek. This is why I hated WaW so much: the maps were too big and there were just little pieces of cover scattered everywhere. Countdown, CT, and Bog weren't too big, but there's no reliable cover or means of traveling from A to B without being randomly fragged. I hope IW realizes what separates their good maps from their bad maps and Treyarch's maps.

I go back and forth on Countdown. When I try sniping (which I'm awful at) or going M16 around the edge I tend to get killed. Last few times I've used a G36c w/red dot and done really well though. In fact last game I played I was 20something and 8 or so. I called in two choppers (the first one I got kills 6 and 7 with my pistol as I was out of G36 ammo).

The very next map was Chinatown. I got two choppers there as well but got no kills with either chopper.

Chinatown just seems random more than anything. Countdown at least has some sort of flow to it (albeit weird flow).

Bog I go back and forth on. The map I played after I split last night was Bog and we even started on the "good" side. My team got hammered (we lost by 190) but I went something like 27-5, can't remember exactly. I got a triple grenade kill when guys were trying to come out the building door (I stand to the side and ricochet it off the far door edge so it bounced back in), although my airstrikes and helicopters were only so-so.

You have to have a team who knows what they're doing when you play there or you'll get flattened.

I was playing last night and started the game 0-7, I finished 22-8, lol. I dunno what happened there.

There aren't any maps I hate, though. I'd like to see them a bit bigger, similar to how Delta Force's were (remember that game?)

I think COD4: MW is the greatest FPS ever created, at least on a console. It is quick but unlike Counterstrike or other Valve games. you didn't die and respawn every 5 seconds. It's also realistic, but unlike the PC versions of Rainbow Six, it does not feel like one shot one kill.

1. Why are you guys talking abotu dogs? I thought dogs were only in COD5: World At World. COD: MW2 aka COD6 or COD5: MW2 (to some folks) is going to be made by IW, not Activision. Why would there be dogs?

2. I hope tehy don't really use vehicles in the way it has been rumored. Like someone else said, I don't want a Bond game, I want a military shooter.

3. Thank god for getting rid of unlimited respawns in the SP. I, for one, loved the SP game.

4. GoW has the BEST game management system I have ever seen. You can play the SP by yourself. When a buddy comes over, he can do a split screen co-op with you CONTINUING where you left off. Later, a different friend can come online and help you live, again continuing on the same spot. Why can't COD or any other game do this?

5. I think they should get rid of jumping except when you're near a ledge. I hate bunnyhoppers. I stopped playing BF2 for a reason. How did these kids find COD?

i think they were just comparing COD4 to WaW.

and it will be made by Infinity Ward. activision is the publisher of the series. treyarch made WaW.

both GoW games had coop. WaW was the first COD game to have it, as they were not usually made for it. MW2 will not have it the same way WaW did, but it will have its own separate set of coop missions apart from the single player campaign.
