So apparently Indians had invented test tube God's, plastic surgery, cars, stem cell research and were flying airplanes thousands of years ago but thanks to Marxists and colonial powers + a healthy dose of inferiority complex, now have to shit outdoors with no plumbing. The future of Hindu nationalism in India:

Indians were flying aeroplanes, carrying out stem cell research and may even have been using cosmic weapons 5,000 years ago, according to the chairman of India's leading historical organisation.

In June, thousands of schools in Gujarat were given textbooks by Batra that claimed cars were invented in ancient India and told children to draw an enlarged nation to include countries including Pakistan, Bangladesh and Afghanistan.

These guys are more delusional than ISIS's quest for the caliphate.

Modi is the first prime minister to publicly back the view that holy texts show many discoveries of modern science were made by ancient Indians. He told an audience of doctors last month that the Hindu god Ganesh's head was evidence of ancient plastic surgery. A warrior the Mahabharata describes as born outside his mother's womb was a test-tube baby, Modi said.

I saw a post on a mainstream news source that claimed India's internet would soon pass America's as the 2nd largest network in the world. (China's <<cough>> being the largest)

I'd recently watched a documentary on pbs about a (3 million people) town in India, where the way they get electricity is by people hijacking working electricity lines. They haven't built a power station there (FUCK YOU Power Station Environmentalist SHIT) in forever, and have no plans to.

This, is what is going to have a better network than America.

It should be noted, Environmentalists want us to stop building Power Stations.

I don't think a Nuclear Power Station has been built in many years.

Pretty soon we will all be relegated to monkeys, looking for their next banana.

Bigger =/= better. I can tell you China's internet quality outside of major cities (like Shanghai) is ATROCIOUS.

The Indians are working hard to better their life, but can you imagine not being allowed to build a Power Plant?

It's Government fucking them up, and it is fucking them up bad.

I can't believe you took that message out of that documentary. The problem is people don't pay for power and therefore there is no money to invest in the system. I also don't recall a single word in that documentary about a new power plant being stopped by environmentalists. Were you drunk when it was on?

The film I assume that Zorkoist was watching is:

Funny stuff, but the one about plastic surgery might not be far from the truth. I can't find it right now, but somewhere in my personal library of all things combat I seem to recall mention and a diagram of an ancient Indian procedure used often to help sword fighters regain their noses. IIRC, they'd cut skin in a specific shape from the foreheard, fold it down and use bamboo plugs to create nostrils. Would look pretty grisly when it's all healed I imagine, but still preferable than living with no nose.

There are indeed some records of amazing things in ancient India, as well as Greece and parts of Africa. Even MesoAmerican had some amazing things in its past. It's a lesson we should all take to heart - being on top (or even near the top) is not something that is necessarily a given. Civilizations collapse, sometimes utterly. Even advanced civilizations.

However, including Pakistan, Bangladesh and Afghanistan within India is amazingly stupid. Of all the things that India lacks and needs to get, millions of violent poor people who hate them is not one that needs to be at the top of the list.

If it ain't the usual untouchables talking shit about India again.

The idiot-OP has unsurprisingly never heard of Sushruta - the first surgeon in the world.

Plastic surgery, skin grafting, was done in the 6th Century BCE - when the rest of the world, and primarily Europeans, were eating each other and swinging on trees.

Sushruta Samhita - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sushruta_Samhita

The retards who have never read or studied India don't understand the grandoise nature of Hindu civilization which included all of Pakistan, Bangladesh, and Afghanistan (even parts of eastern Iran).

India should definitely take back the land - the people can piss off to Iran/Saudi Shit-rabia - the homeland of the invaders who raped their ancestors.

Thank goodness they got rid of that filthy pig-latin German in schools and put back Sanskrit - that which is perfect.

To understand the importance of Sanskrit, look here: http://www.firstpost.com/india/the-...it-is-indeed-a-superior-language-1813201.html

Power is incredibly cheap (and clean.) Nuclear Power. But today that industry is harnessed by regulation and environmentalist claptrap.

This is (and you are right on the name of the documentary I watched) a story of corruption, and government bureaucracy, and incompetence, and completely normal for most of India.

The people, are ready, willing and able to work. It's the Government, that is not allowing them to succeed and flourish.

How about we put the people to work on a Nuclear Power Station?

The Indian government is still in the process of decoupling itself from the market place. Sadly its horribly inefficient control of some industries (its utilities being a perfect example) have not been removed yet.

Though if their government continues with the process of throwing off the shackles of decades of centralized government control of key industries in India then they will see a rapid increase in its standard of living for the majority of people. Of course it will not happen overnight but over the course of a 2 decade or more things will change dramatically for the better.

China is a real world example of this occurring. Where hundreds of millions of people have literally been uplifted from poverty and given the opportunity to actually succeeded as wages have risen dramatically since 1989 when they first started experimenting with that evil thing known as capitalism.

If they use money to buy pointless stuff like toilets and 24/7 electricity how would they afford to buy gold? BTW I can't even of anything in my house that was made in India yet China goods are practically flooding in it.

People don't want to pay for power and your solution is to ask those same people to build a Nuclear Power plant?

India has many, many issues with corruption in its bureaucracy that I've seen up close by actually being there. But your arguments keep changing instead evil environmentalists stopping the people from building power plants its now evil bureaucrats. Again there is not a dang thing in that documentary to back up either assertion.
