Sure it's an FX-60 2.6Ghz stock and 500Mhz OC..

Lets see at least 2 hours prime, CPU-Z verified and describe cooling in detail. You say water cooled could mean water chilled with 50/50 down to -20 loop.

I for one am skeptical you are on a regular ambeint loop but don't doubt OC...

Without a doubt! Godsmack is the managing editor for a review site and always gets the good stuff first He posted pics and results with a 4800+ way before anyone had seen one. I get he's got a 5000+ or a 5200+

that still doesn?t explain the x13.5 multi, when the 5000+ is projected to be a 2.6Ghz variant, which would mean a top locked x13 multi, and there has been no talk of a 5200+ yet.

im interested in these so say pics he is going to post, ill believe it when i see it.

Would a DDR2 enabled A64 have a different multiplier scheme than the current DDR A64s?

Cool. I was skeptical too, especially since 12x is as high as my multi goes, but getting some of the background on the tester makes it a little more credible. Nice work if true, and thanks for letting us in on it.

please do me a favor and dont post which website. Im under NDA for this and just letting a few nuggets pass to show what the new AMD is capable of. I havent even hit an overhead stop yet. Its posted at 3.4ghz, and Ive gotten into windows at 3.3ghz, now just working on fine tuning the voltage and ram to get it stable. 3.1 is highest stable so far.

FX's have multi unlocked Rich... It's a 13 stock multi.

yeah the M2's are going to have lower multi's to accommodate a default 333Mhz memory bus, so it must be a socket 939

OP is it a socket 939 can you divulge this at all?? I am truly interested.

Sheesh, I should have expected such criticism but from some of the elder members its a bit much. GD knows me and I appreciate his support. First off it is simply watercooled on an ambient loop. I am not super cooling this. YET
Second, its gotten well better than 500mhz OC butnot stable yet.

3.1ghz is stable at least 10 hours prime stable. I havent had the chip for much more than that.

I will post a pic, but understand that personal info will be blurred out. And yes I will post CPUZ just for Zebo

true but he said it was an X2 in the title post which i would assume is top locked, unless it is indeed an ES .. who knows .. I need to see some pics

OP I just want to apologise for my some what abrupt posts at the beginning, you have to admit not knowing you was a Reviewer/Editor, and the way you worded the OP did sound quite a bit iffy, and a bit of a p!ss-about

Anyway I await the info and pics you can provide us

It's pretty easy to figure where ( which web site ( google is our friend ) ) you are coming from..

If you had an NDA you have already violated it...

You might as well tell us since you broke the NDA. BTW I think NDA suck.

Guys forget about the NDA that?s the OP?s responsibility, don?t spoil our chances of early potentially credible info

Good one OP...
You just wasted the time of everyone you lured in here with the claims of a 3ghz x2.

:roll::thumbsdown::|
