You can add Amex or any other card to Visa checkout. I went all the way through just to see and it worked fine, but I just couldnt bring myself to hit the place order button since I just recently bought that XFX R290X. I think I'd be best served to wait for the next gen cards to come out.

Thanks for the explanation. I didn't know that. XFX R9 290X is still a solid deal and if I am not mistaken, that one has lifetime warranty but the 390 XFX (unless purchased at BB) doesn't. How is your card btw? I think you had 2D black screen issues that you fixed with a custom voltage bump profile. Still rock solid?

Yep that was me, and it has the lifetime warranty. It's rock solid as long as MSI Afterburner keeps my upped voltage profile loaded. Over the past two months I've had a couple of the "display driver stopped responding and has recovered" temporary black screens and both times when I checked Afterburner it had somehow reverted back to the card's default voltage. Once I reset my profile all is well again.

I am going to guess that whenever you upgrade drivers, the MSI profile gets reset. Check that next time you download the newer driver. Also, I believe if you update the MSI AB to a newer version, unless you save some key files in the MSI AB folder, the profiles will be lost too.

It appears to have. Got a response email after purchase from AmEx saying

Thanks for using your Amex Offer at NEWEGG.COM. Look out for a $25.00 statement credit, which will automatically be applied to your statement if your purchase meets the offer terms.

AmEx shows the purchase as being made at Newegg so I think it is good to go.

Remember the price still has to be over $200 after the $25 VCO is deducted for the AmEx offer to be valid.
