???
The wealthy people I know don't hold their possesions as highly as those who don't have much.
They consider their family to be their first priority... cause they can buy another 20k car without flinching.

Maybe I just know atypical wealthy people.

She's obviously not rich, & your class envy is showing.

Living in Stamford, CT?

Hmm...let's see.

122 Fieldstone Rd. (the house next door):
http://www.cityofstamford.org/Tax/Searc...&INPUTVALUE=FIELDSTONE&SUBRECORD=16447
Land: $126,700
Building: $279,400
Total: $406,100

And that was in 2002.

You're a douche (which is well-known by now) if you think a 400k house in Stamford is "expensive." The place has high housing values. An Audi A4 is NOT an expensive car, either. What year was it? Even if new, they aren't 80k cars. Go ahead and say it is about her being rich, and continue to let your class envy shine through. What a jealous partisan hack you are.
oh boo-fvcking hoo

Fvck off, asshat.

To be honest, that's not very expensive for Connecticut.
And that was three years ago. It still takes about $200,000/yr gross income to qualify for a mortgage of that size (with 20% down)

Not true. The requirements these days are a lot lower.

I don't understand. Why all the negativity towards "rich" people? Do you think all people that are rich just fell into it? Maybe they worked their @sses of to get rich?

Dave, allow me to offer a friendly piece of advice - and I mean this in the nicest possible sense. Shut the hell up; you sound like a complete moron.

Probably right.

Wannabe rich people.
So now it's "wanna be rich people" to blame. Right...
Where did I ever say she was rich? Hmm? I didn't. I just replied to a post and showed the house valuation of the house next door.

Why are people defending this idiot woman? She sure as hell wasn't someone eaking out a living on minimum wage and eating Ramen noodles for dinner.

Why are we discussing who's rich and who's not? Shouldn't we be getting down to the basics here...the dumbass mother?

Maybe, just maybe, she was afraid that the glass would shatter and harm the kid? That's the only thing I can think of.

Break the glass on the opposite side from the kid. Problem solved.

The glass breaks up into little beads anyway. It's not like sharp shards will go flying into the kid's face.

Someone broke the driver's side window on my 92 Prizm. It was only around $100 to get it replaced, and they drove out and replaced it.
$100. This woman needs a good slapping.

Bull-sh1t. You don't have to have an income anywhere NEAR that -- and you don't even KNOW when she bought the house. They could have owned it for 20 years and the value was MUCH less. You ASSume as usual because you are a bitter ass.

I'm sure he was. Mill's too busy frothing at the mouth, so anxious to attack me personally (for no reason whatsoever) that he forgot how to quote the proper message.

BTW, I found this:

http://www.cityofstamford.org/Tax/Searc...T+AL&SUBRECORD=16446&PARCELID=003-8546

Looks like the article had the wrong address (or they moved?)

3 years ago 128 Fieldstone was valued at $470,600. Pretty safe to say it's about $500,000 today. Add in the property tax rate and you're looking at $1,100/month in just property taxes. Ouch. And it looks like they bought the home in 1998 (and it looks like the purchase price then was over $500,000 judging from the prior sale)

But, that doesn't matter. The point is this woman has money, drives a very nice car, probably is rather well educated and was freaking out over a goddamn window when her child was locked in a hot car.

That's about the definition of a complete fvcking moron!
