Wow, tough to believe, especially if they're going out of business.

I never had any problems with them, but that's largely because I'd go there in person to pick up my orders. I had heard that they'd gotten fairly slopping regarding the whole shipping aspect, though, and seeing the staff there at times, I guess I could see that being the case.

Damn that sucks...wonder what happened to them? I had ordered almost my entire computer from them two years ago...kinda sad.

Anyways, just a bit of update on my thread above, I finally talked to someone and was promised an RMA form in email. Haven't seen anything, and that's a few hours ago. Will update.

I've seen some posts here and there lately talking about Monarch falling off, it sounds like they are done. To bad, they once were a pretty good place to shop.

It's about time. They've always been sh*tty with their customer support. I ordered a DC set of RAM from them once and got a bad stick. They wouldn't exchange it. And then they wanted to charge a 15% restocking fee to return it even though it was defective. :Q

Hmm, way back in the day my MSI motherboard broke, I RMA'd it back to Monarch, they said it worked for them but replaced it anyway (emailing me the entire time with the progress), and I paid nothing but shipping.

Sounds like great customer service to me.

I was charged $339 for my processor, but a month later I got a $110 credit from them. So it's like getting my CPU for $229. Weird huh?

Wow, I am sorry to hear that. They were one of my favorite alternatives a couple years ago when newegg first jumped the shark.

I'm still rockin' my $400 X800XT I got from them way back when. I never shopped there since, but sucks they're giving people the shaft.

I bought my first computer from them about 7 years ago for college. It did it's job. Didn't know they're still in business.

It all started with my review on Monarch. I predicted it and thus it has come

Their online site had zero correlation with real-time inventory. The refund process supposedly took 30 days; maybe because their refunds person was too busy with all the other refunds? They don't care about what they fvcked up until you make public their failures. :roll:
