I never thought I'd say this, but this is the best set of commentators MNF has had in a long time. It's taken me a few weeks to get used to them, but it seems to work. Neither Gruden or Jaws are typical sports personalities, but both having been in the game for a long time offer decent insight.

I do miss the kornheiser commentary for the reporter angle to the game in progress, and the complete disregard for pissing off anyone in the NFL since he'd never be looking to go back into work with the league; unlike gruden, jaws or any other of the same ilk.

yeah i dont mind them either. but when kornheiser was in there before gruden; jeez it was pure torture. which was odd because i didnt mind him on pti, but his little jokes and insight on mnf just fell flat for me. oh well it's all good now.

Sad but true. For the record, I liked Marty and I still prefer him to Turner. The Chargers will probably make the playoffs this year (I hope) but like usual, I expect them to be out by the second game.
