Monday:
I was in a mad hurry to speak with an instructor so I locked the bike frame but didn't secure the front wheel. I came back 20 minutes later to discover I was minus a wheel. I was pissed that someone took it but I have a second set so I let it go.
Today:
I happened by a random bike in a rack that just happened to have my wheel on it. I know it was mine because I had engraved my initials on the inside of the rim. So, I stole it back.
I'm debating going back and taking the rest of their damn bike and maybe breaking it at the welds and then returning it. I've already adjusted the brakes for them.
EDIT:: I'm sure he'll notice his brakes are jacked as soon as he mounts a new wheel. The pads are a good two inches off of the rim, his tensioner springs are bent to hell, and the cable tension nut is completely stripped.
And FFMCobalt, would you ride a bike without first inspecting it especially after noticing such profound mechanical flaws? asshat.
