Adjusting his breaks was a pretty fvcking stupid thing to do, dumbass. He stole your tire. You took it back. What if that guy goes sailing into traffic and fvcking DIES because of your goddamn IDIOT idea of fvcking with his breaks? Christ you asshat! :| Well, atleast if he DOES die, you've admitted guilt and can go to jail for manslaughter/murder.

how is he gonna go into traffic when he's missing a front wheel ?

LMFAO! OWNED!!!

...morons. Say this guy goes and.... oh, I'm just guessing here... STEALS another one? Or BUYS a new wheel/tube/tire? Jeebus you guys, use a little logic, would ya?

Dude, would you even get on a bike without testing at least the brakes? If you would then you should be a little more cautious. Always inspect your equipment. Hes going to notice that the brake shoes are a good two inches off of the wheel rim, his tensioner springs are bent, and the cable tension nut has been stripped out.

You could just teflon the brake pads like I did once. One set only though, make it the fronts.

jeebus nik! use some logic, would ya?

The "brake job" wasn't described in detail. I assumed that he meant "adjusting" brakes the way I used to do when I was young and a lot more stupid than I am now so that they don't notice that they're non-functional (read: they look intact) until they go to use them. And, no, I don't do a 110-point inspection every time I get on my bike

If all he did was do an obvious job at fvcking up the other guy's brakes, then YAY! Hooray for vandalism! Congratulations on lowering yourself to their level!! WOOHOO!

if he got into traffic in the first place without noticing he had no brakes then perhaps it's darwin at work. how far do you really have to do before you hit your brakes anyway? and i'd notice that i didn't have to squeeze the tire through the pads when i went to put a new wheel on. of course, the guy steals bike tires so i guess he's not that smart.

perhaps you should try riding a bike before showing everyone your ass next time nik.

You are THE most selfrighteous jackass.

Why havn't you jumped in and called the guy who initially stole the rim and horrible vile theif and suggested his hands be cut off? You are the moral warrior arn't you?
Or are you just conditionally righteous?

Say someone stole the rims off my car and was dumb enough to put them on his car, and drive around in my area with them.
You better believe that if I found his car with my rims, I would steal them back and leave his car on the ground. On top of that I would probably sugar his gastank, destroy the paint, smash a few windows and mabey cut some ignition lines.
AFTER I did all that, I would wait by his car with my tire iron.

It's been a few years, but I used to live on my bike. Back in early HS and Jr. High, Viper GTS and I used to bike around quite often. But if that actually MATTERED, you would have somewhat of an arguement. The last time I fvcked with someone's brakes, I watched a buddy of mine who lived down the street slam into his garage door and got pretty hurt. He's got a scar on his upper lip and nose for life now.

if you lived on your bike and you're that clueless it's surprising you didn't go flying into traffic with no brakes.

That just shows what kind of a person you are. Doing all that crap isn't worth it. Believe me. I've done some stupid things. Not caused THAT much damage to a car, but it bit me in the ass. You pull that kind of crap (other than stealing them back) and you're bound to get served. And, quite frankly, I hope you do!

lol nice job, there is a difference between your buddy and someone who stole your transportation.

Oh how convenient you have a little story that supports your point.

Did you and viper ride into the woods and discover your sexuality?

I'm doubting you've ever done anything more than key a 6 inch line on a random car in the supermarket for parking too close to your hoopty. Stupid things? Please, you're a candy ass.

Get served?
I do the serving boy.

I always used to think the "what-if" crap was just a bunch of crap. But, if you really stop and think about what you're doing before you do it, is it worth it? Is it honestly WORTH the trouble and risk of doing it? Does it give you THAT MUCH gratification? Would the gratification still be gratifying if you saw the guy get seriously hurt because of something you did? If it is, then you've got some serious issues.

Half the kids here probably would say that you're out of line doing anything more to the perp's bike, but if you touched their PC at a LAN party, they'd probably take a pipebomb to your house
