I was in a mad hurry to speak with an instructor so I locked the bike frame but didn't secure the front wheel. I came back 20 minutes later to discover I was minus a wheel. I was pissed that someone took it but I have a second set so I let it go.
Today:
I happened by a random bike in a rack that just happened to have my wheel on it. I know it was mine because I had engraved my initials on the inside of the rim. So, I stole it back.
I'm debating going back and taking the rest of their damn bike and maybe breaking it at the welds and then returning it. I've already adjusted the brakes for them.
Adjusting his breaks was a pretty fvcking stupid thing to do, dumbass. He stole your tire. You took it back. What if that guy goes sailing into traffic and fvcking DIES because of your goddamn IDIOT idea of fvcking with his breaks? Christ you asshat! :| Well, atleast if he DOES die, you've admitted guilt and can go to jail for manslaughter/murder.
You obviously don't ride bikes much.
crumpet19: Ignore nik, he comes off as an idiot as usual I think what you did was great. Kudos for getting your wheel back!
Is this the "piss on nik" hour?

The last time I fvcked with someone's brakes, I watched a buddy of mine who lived down the street slam into his garage door and got pretty hurt. He's got a scar on his upper lip and nose for life now.
lol nice job, there is a difference between your buddy and someone who stole your transportation.

I always used to think the "what-if" crap was just a bunch of crap. But, if you really stop and think about what you're doing before you do it, is it worth it? Is it honestly WORTH the trouble and risk of doing it? Does it give you THAT MUCH gratification? Would the gratification still be gratifying if you saw the guy get seriously hurt because of something you did? If it is, then you've got some serious issues.

how is he gonna go into traffic when he's missing a front wheel ?
LMFAO! OWNED!!!
...morons. Say this guy goes and.... oh, I'm just guessing here... BUYS a new wheel/tube/tire? Jeebus you guys, use a little logic, would ya?
ever change a bike tire before? your going to notice your breaks are fvcked up the second you get down there to put the tire on.
jeebus nik! use some logic, would ya?
The "brake job" wasn't described in detail. I assumed that he meant "adjusting" brakes the way I used to do when I was young and a lot more stupid than I am now so that they don't notice that they're non-functional (read: they look intact) until they go to use them. And, no, I don't do a 110-point inspection every time I get on my bike
If all he did was do an obvious job at fvcking up the other guy's brakes, then YAY! Hooray for vandalism! Congratulations on lowering yourself to their level!! WOOHOO!
...
Hell yes it would be gratifying. Your double standards are great. Jesus loves you.Originally posted by: FFMCobalt

Not really. Neither one deserves to get hurt.

What is this 'serving' business. Around here things and people get OWNED. Not served.

especially if the front wheel is missing.
and most especially if the front wheel appears back on a bike he has seen on campus.
