Next time leave a note that says "next time you steal my bike rim/tire I'll cut your balls off while you're sleeping"

especially if the front wheel is missing.

and most especially if the front wheel appears back on a bike he has seen on campus.

For this reason alone, he must be killed.

After you urinate on his bike of course.

And, no, I don't do a 110-point inspection every time I get on my bike

If all he did was do an obvious job at fvcking up the other guy's brakes, then YAY! Hooray for vandalism! Congratulations on lowering yourself to their level!! WOOHOO!

...

Dude, you're just mad because you got totally OWNED when crumpet19 stole his bike tire back from you.

lol - I didn't see that one coming

crumpet19: Ignore nik, he comes off as an idiot as usual I think what you did was great. Kudos for getting your wheel back!

It's been a few years, but I used to live on my bike. Back in early HS and Jr. High, Viper GTS and I used to bike around quite often. But if that actually MATTERED, you would have somewhat of an arguement. The last time I fvcked with someone's brakes, I watched a buddy of mine who lived down the street slam into his garage door and got pretty hurt. He's got a scar on his upper lip and nose for life now.

I guess he was a tire thief then. *shrug*

I was in a mad hurry to speak with an instructor so I locked the bike frame but didn't secure the front wheel. I came back 20 minutes later to discover I was minus a wheel. I was pissed that someone took it but I have a second set so I let it go.

Today:
I happened by a random bike in a rack that just happened to have my wheel on it. I know it was mine because I had engraved my initials on the inside of the rim. So, I stole it back.

I'm debating going back and taking the rest of their damn bike and maybe breaking it at the welds and then returning it. I've already adjusted the brakes for them.

Adjusting his breaks was a pretty fvcking stupid thing to do, dumbass. He stole your tire. You took it back. What if that guy goes sailing into traffic and fvcking DIES because of your goddamn IDIOT idea of fvcking with his breaks? Christ you asshat! :| Well, atleast if he DOES die, you've admitted guilt and can go to jail for manslaughter/murder.

Slow you roll, Sparky. It this fvcking asshat moronic piece of fecal matter dies, then I can't say I'll shed a single goddamn tear. Thiefs deserve it.

how is he gonna go into traffic when he's missing a front wheel ?

LMFAO! OWNED!!!

...morons. Say this guy goes and.... oh, I'm just guessing here... STEALS another one? Or BUYS a new wheel/tube/tire? Jeebus you guys, use a little logic, would ya?

I haven't read past this one yet, so it may have been said...

I'm betting the reason the brakes are tweaked is because the OP had to tweak 'em to get the wheel off.

Should have played with his mind more. Left a note saying you know who he is and that's how you tracked down your wheel. Although you wish to commit murder, you will stop at taking back what is rightfully yours. Unless the guy is a career criminal, that will freak the daylights out of 'em.

oh come on!
you know all these guys that go to LAN parties have seperate machines for just such an occasion that are easily re-imaged to their preformance settings.

also:
as far as further damage to the bike, id be careful. depending on the expense of the bike, you could get into more trouble and any authorities involved probably woulnt believe or care that he stole your tire first. so...if you can get away with something small or maybe just smack the kid around next time you see him, go for it. but dont get yourself into trouble over this.

I totally agree with Nik here.

He stole your wheel, you stole it back, and you could definately be a little more creative than to do something like screw with his brakes. I mean, even if you removed the chain from the gear that is on the peddles so he had to fit it right then and there to use it it wouldn't be that bad, but personally I would have stuck with calling the campus police. They might have impounded the bike (Yes, I've seen them impound bikes.) left a little tag for the owner to come to the station to pick it up. 3 out of 5 times, as someone said, the bike itself is stolen and the theif won't even go pick it up for that reason.
