anyone catch this on HBO? 10pm EST on 3/4...some of you west coast people might catch it...i dont know if this the first time it's been on, but i've never heard of it before.

I'm watching it now, and I think it's really well done. It's gives a real look into the whole scandal from Monica's point of view. I didn't follow it while it was happening a couple years ago, so i can't pass judgement. Anyway, I think it's very powerful and well edited. It's a good documentary, and you should check it out if you were interested in the whole scandal.

One thing i've realized is how ridiculous the whole scandal was. The investigation was 60 million dollars? the book published is huge. I just feel bad for monica for all the sh*t the press put her through. Especially after 9/11, it makes it seem extremely trivial now that you look back at it.

It wasn't worthy of my attention then and it isn't now. It's in the media's best interest to report negative news but I chose not to listen.

I watched it, and I'm still not buying the whole "I'm the innocent victim" spiel that she's blurting out. She sold out Clinton for the publicity and to save her own ass from pergery charges, plain and simple. No college-trained 24 year old that was bright enough to get into the White House can be THAT neive!

I really liked the question the black gentleman asked towards the end. About how this was a one-sided charade and spin. I think that really upset her, but I think he was partially correct.

The question about 'America's Blow Job Queen' was off the wall. I think that caught her by suprise.

Interesting take on the whole event. It kind of makes me wonder if all of these peripheral distractions took too much attention away from Clinton doing his job.

Watching it now, I think as to what a big deal it was on the news and all. But after September, it almost seems silly.

If you buy a Mercedes, you don't care who the president of the company is having sex with, you just care that the car runs like it should, and that it works correctly. Why should I care who the President has sex with? As long as he does his job correctly.

The one that I felt sorry for tonight is Chelsea Clinton. That was her dad that they were sitting there talking about. Think how you would feel if that were your father? To no fault of her own, she had to go through all of this shish. It would take alot for me to forgive my father if he put me through shish like that.

Just my $.02, I am a jaded over- educated engineer. I am probably wrong.

While Monica certainly was not victimized per se. I think the American public in general paid a huge price; more dysfunctional than normal government for almost a year. The Starr Report was tabloid garbage. Unfortunately, it was true and we had no choice but to hear about it.

I don't find the immigrant gentleman's question particularly enlightening. Why shouldn't she tell her story and portray herself in the best possible light? We certainly spent the better part of a year with various iterations portraying her worst possible perspective.

My thoughts exactly. She had an affiar w/a married man, not just any married man the freakin' Pres of the US, and she's playin' like she was a victim. My @ss...

What did she think was gonna happen when it became public (and yer nuts if you think that never would have gone public)? The only thing she is a victim of is a lack of common sense.

Agreed, I didn't watch the whole thing but she did have an opportunity to say, "yeah I messed up by grabbing another woman's schlong . . . even if she had no intentions of doing it."

I watched it. She's a naive girl who was seduced by power. I have more respect for her now than before since seeing the documentary.

Yeah, but her respect titer was kind of low to begin with.

I LOVE it when people blame the other man/woman for a married person's infidelity. It's so Jerry Springer.

Hint: If your wife/husband is screwing around on you, it's 100% your spouse's fault... unless they were forced. But then, that would be rape, and is an entirely different topic.

Bill is 100% at fault here. HE is the married one who made vows of fidelity, not Monica. Yes, Monica's morals are questionable, but Bill has no one to blame but himself.

I've NEVER understood why someone would blame the other person. They made NO vows of fidelity to you, your spouse did.

As for why people care if the president f'cks around on his wife, but not the CEO of MB, well, it's because no one's child looks up to, and is exposed to the private life of the CEO of Mercedes. They are, however, exposed to and look up to the life of our president.

And frankly, I don't want my president exposing himself to anything he can be blackmailed for. I think a clandestine affair ranks up there pretty high.

I thought it showed just how sleazy Clinton really was. More so than ever before.

naw, its not that simple AmusedOne. Blame for the affair resides in both people involved because both had the chance to say no. So we can hold Lewiski accountable for her poor judgement. Though its easier to see how a young woman would act with poorer jdgement than how a middle aged man would.

I agree with AmusedOne 100% on this.
While watching this show I was waiting for someone to ask what she learned from this fiasco or what the morale of the story is.
I think it's very simple: If your married don?t cheat on your spouse and if you?re single don?t fool around with married people.

Am I wrong?

As I said, her morals are questionable, but Clinrtons are not as his affair means there is no question his morality is seriously lacking.

Monica had no vow, and therefore less reason to say no than Clinton. CLINTON broke marriage vows, not Lewinsky.

Look, had it not been Lewinsky, it would have been the next willing woman to come along. If a spouse cheats, they are WILLING to cheat. If they are not willing to cheat, they wont.

I'm sorry, but when a single person and a married person have an affair, the married person is at fault for the infidelity.
