Monitor and DVD burner recommendations?

Monitor suitable for gaming. 19" but with smallest possible footprint. I'd like to get one that comes in black.
Also DVD burner recommendation.

I have the Optorite DD0203 DVD±RW and I am very impressed with it. I haven't burned a coaster with it yet. It works well with my older toshiba standalone dvd player, and my new denon dvd player too. its cheap, and it works beautifually with dvd shrink which is a godsend, and freeware to boot.

I got the DVD-2200
specs

here are the specs from crutchfield. it's listed at $599 on there but I traded in another dvd player to my local high end home audio store and since they were selling it for like $500 anyway, i got it for around $300...i do business there alot so they take care of me. this is the best dvd player i have ever owned..i wanted the dvd-2900, but i couldnt pay $1000 for one. i have a 36 inch toshiba tv that really is holding me back as far as picture quality...it has component video but it isnt progressive scan. its a gorgeous picture already, so i think i can force myself to live with it for awhile longer. but i would highly recommend the dvd player. jump all over it. any of the denon players are good. even the dvd-1200 for $400 kicks butt!

I've owned several Denon products (even a stereo turntable from the stone age!), and have been happy with all of them. Looks like this DVD is right up my alley.

not a problem. i am a denon person. i have the avr-3803 right now for my receiver, as were my last 2 receivers. every time i upgrade i look at the b&k, and onkyo, and nad, and the other usual suspects for good ones. but for my money denon really seems to do the job. home theater is just as addicting if not more so than computer stuff.
