It's like the monitor turns off and the screen goes black, just for a fraction of a second. I went down to 75 mhz, hasnt done it yet since I backed it down.
do you have any electrical appliances directly next to your monitor? ie: a large fan, a tv, a stereo? if you have a fan close that can interfere with your monitor and cause it to do the shakes and flicker....
I had a nec that had a short on the power cable just as it passed the opening. It would do the same thing - I had to jar it around a bt and it would pop back on. It was under warranty so they sent me a refurbished one.
The only thing i have near is the cpu tower a couple of feet away. I went and dropped the res down to 1152X864 and used it for for an hour before it blinked again. It makes a popping noise, a snap sound when it does it. I went and tightened my video cable but it didnt help. Hope my monitors is the problem. Gonna switch out the video card tomorrow
