Monitor connector termination?

I hope the title wasn't too obscure sounding.

I have a SFF computer that I use as a music server in my home. It works great but I have one little problem. I HAVE to have a monitor hooked up to it or it won't boot. I can connect to it using a remote desktop connection so I don't need a monitor hooked up to it other than it won't boot without it.

Is there any kind of monitor connection termination I can use--sort of like the SCSI terminators I've seen? Maybe some way to trick it into thinking it has a monitor connected?

I'd also like to not have to connect a mouse or keyboard, but those aren't as important.

Go to the BIOS and set it to ignore all mouse/keyboard and I am not sure if it has an option for monitor. However, I think any PCs can boot without a monitor.

There isn't any setting for the monitor, and it won't boot without one connected to it. I'm not sure what to do.

Okie, it is confirmed that the problem does happen on some old PIII systems . If I were you, I would buy a cheap KVM switch and plug it to the PC to emulate the monitor signal. Cost is about $15-$20.

That sounds much more reasonable than an entire monitor. Thanks for the suggestion.
