Monitor options - Gaming but also want good clarity and color.

I am going to sell my Apple Cinema 27" DP port monitor that has been great. Just I want to go back to 2-3 monitors as I get more real estate that way. I do game (BF4, COD), and would need the selling cost $600-700 of the Apple to buy the 2-3 monitors to put in it's place.

What are your recommendations for replacement monitors that are great picture, brightness, and colors? I do only have one 780 GTX at the moment, so it would need to handle it.

Another option is a new 27" but with the newer technology in it for gaming. Let me know your thoughts.

Two different size screens won't happen. Multiple 24s are fine. To what I see two 27s is possible going with qnix ones.

So the $650 includes/is the funds you anticipate getting from selling the Apple?

If so, then 2 very nice/brand-name/high-quality IPS monitors aren't in range. That'll get you one good 27" monitor with some change to spare. However, $650 can get you two of the 27" Korean monitors (I've seen Catleaps go for $260, about two weeks ago was the last time).

TN panels will still offer you the fastest response times, but in practice I haven't noticed any lag with my U3011 or the 27" Korean I have. Then again, I'm not super-serious about gaming (my mouse is an MX Revolution and I still do alright with twitch games).
