Hi group,

A couple of questions for you:

I purchased at bestbuy.ca this monitor. The recommended resolution setting is 1920 x 1080 at 60hz; however, this resolution makes the screen picture overflow over the screen!! I have to use 1600 x 1200 @ 60hz. The picture is much nicer at the recommended setting, so how do I get it to work at the recommended resolution :wall:

Thank you in advance,

CG

You are using HDMI to connect your computer to the monitor, right?
Otherwise, D-SUB should still work, but you may need to select the "auto adjust" from the OSD so that the monitor adjusts its frequencies to the signal your PC is giving it.
You really should post your system spec as well if you want a more competent response. We don't have much to go on right now.

Hello,

Yes you are correct, I am using HDMI. I tried the D-sub that came with the monitor, it fits in the back of the monitor, but their is not port on the video card that fits that size of D-Sub!!

When you state my system specs, which ones do you want?

- GEForce nvidia 570
- Intel Sandy Bridge 4-core
- Windows 7 64-bit
- Crucial M4 SSD

Cordially,

CG

This is common for this monitor.
Go into the onscreen display of the monitor and be sure your input is set to pc.
And Set video rez to 1920x1080 60hz in windows.
