monitor self power off

Hi everyone,

I wonder if anyone have a clue as to what might be wrong with my monitor?

I have a Iiyama vision master pro 21. Running win98se on a tbred with shuttle board. Anyways, when I reboot my pc, sometimes, my monitor would turn itself off and I would have to wait anywhere between 5 and 15 minutes before the monitor would allow itself to be turn on again. (I disconnect the video cable to pc and press the on button of the monitor and it would not turn on until a given time.)

Is might monitor old and about to die? I probably had it for a good 6 years or so.

It's very possible that it's about had it. Almost sounds like some kind of power supply in the monitor itself doesn't wanna work anymore.
