I don't know how Cherry MX Black stacks against Red. On the first day of sales they had there Cherry MX Red for $90.

MX Blacks are great for gaming; but I'd be concerned with the overall build vs. simply what switches are inside.

Which backlit reds? Monoprice brnaded mechanical keyboard reds? The switches alone will ALL Have solid reviews, cherry switches of all colors are phenominal. The differences come down to the overall build quality of each board. Right now I am using a CM Storm Quickfire and it is WORLDS better than my old razer bwu whihc both have mx blues.

Yeah, Monoprice had a higher end version that was on sale for under $100. I have a Black Widow that I like, but it only has 6 key rollover. Anyways, the few reviews on the higher end keyboard are favorable.

Anyone used their mouse pads? I'm in need of one and was about to splurge on a Razer or something similar that was large. These look to be about the same size as the larger commonly known surfaces and much cheaper.
