LG 34UM94-P or somesuch (2014-2015 version, *Thunderbolt*, 3 year warranty) is $580 or so at NewEgg with the discount code right now. I think it's good today and tomorrow, so ending 5/15.

This is the straight 34" 2K 21:6 monitor. IPS. Thunderbolt!

If you're looking for a curved 34" I would tell you to set a price alert for them and jump on it when it meets your criteria. I got lucky with my hp when microcenter was running a sale earlier this year and if you watch you can do the same.
