Any idea how this one compares to the $100 more Glass Panel Pro? I'm hoping it would have less input lag since it has only DVI and VGA while the Glass has multiple inputs. But I can't find any reviews to confirm this.

In for one as well, finally got the rest of my system up to par to utilize this nice resolution so I'm hoping for a nice movie/gaming experience
Got my monitor a couple of days ago. I am very impressed with it. Great colors, screen brightness, and it seems pretty solidly assembled. I don't have any dead or stuck pixels, either.
There is a massdrop for this monitor with "an A+ grade panel, pixel perfect guarantee". https://www.massdrop.com/buy/monoprice-monitor
$339 + $15 shipping is a pretty damn good deal considering you're paying ~$10 less and guaranteed no dead pixels compared to monoprice's 5 normally. Backlight bleed around the edges is still a crapshoot, but it's an IPS so nobody can guarantee that.
I'm not as anal as some people about screens, but I honestly haven't noticed anything.Any backlight bleed?
I considered buying the Glass Panel Pro with this deal, but this first look by CNET gave me second thoughts:

Seems money was saved by having an 8 year design everything that goes around the panel itself.
That review is really terrible. The guy focuses on things that really don't matter and doesn't seem to understand who this monitor is for. Personally, I don't spend a lot of time adjusting my monitor or looking down it so it doesn't matter if it's difficult to tilt. Also, he says it wobbles when you press the buttons...again...generally I mean, you set your colors and then go about your life for a couple years. The review doesn't mention anything substantive like about pixels or screen quality or you know...video quality. He also doesn't put it into the context of other monitors of the same resolution. If theres another $350 2560x1440 monitor that doesn't wobble...sure, I'm interested, but if the only option is a Dell or Apple for 3x the price...I can handle the wobbling. Just saying...that review is kinda worthless.
Is this the same one that mono has for $50 off now? Reviews?
