Just got my two in the mail. Packed OK, and both are working and in great shape.

Edit: Took about 28 days...not too bad.

I finally got around to plopping in a new battery to my Swatch clone (it uses a regular 377) and it is working. We'll see how accurate it's time keeping is. My watch is getting outrageously expensive now as it's teetering on the edge of $7 total with the new battery I had to get....

Next time, buy Chinese batteries for your Chinese watch. You can get inexpensive replacements on eBay for pennies (some major name brands, or knockoffs: Maxell, Duracell, Sony) that work great.

BTW, my watches are still going strong. Though one did need a replacement battery. I notice as the battery was dying, it started keeping less accurate time... eventually the second hand only had enough power to move back and forth.

They might be pennies *before* shipping. That will be hard to beat the $1.45 I paid for the Duracell replacement at Dierbergs. $7 is total watch price - $5+ for the watch; $1+ for the battery.

I was actually joking, but yeah, this hobby of ours is getting awfully expensive. lol A sadist could only imagine how many extra nets these factories are buying.

For the price, how can you go wrong?
Good for stocking stuffers, etc.
Note that the subdials on chrono-style watches are non-functional.

They sent me the wrong watch.

A watch I would only re-gift as a gag - that bad.

Now I get to see how their customer service is like.

Or maybe if I was dressing up as Elvis in his latter years.

The Quick - If a problem - contact them, wait a couple days if no response, contact Paypal. ( don't wait beyond Paypal dispute limit. ) Way too much aggravation.

So as accurately I can be without doing a lot of work to get the dates and check out other stuff.

So I contacted them on a Thursday evening, 22nd via the website messaging. I also emailed them on Friday. No response. (Their website says they usually respond in 6 hours.) Filed dispute with Paypal on Wednesday. Heard from them on Thursday wanting picture of watch I got. Sent them a Google doc link and they said they couldn't read it. Thurday or Friday sent them an attached picture. Sunday got a message from paypal dispute closed. Logged into paypal and saw I got a refund.

Since I got so little information from them, not sure if the no response at first was because they were busy. Obviously they do get the watches out to some people just fine.

It took about 17 days for me to get the wrong watch.

That's cheaper than a battery, damn. I have a thing for watches too, this is going to bankrupt my loose change cup.

Uh, wtf is going on with this one?

This watch is available on Amazon for $4-$5 with free shipping from the US. I have bought about a 20 of them for gifts as they are remarkably high quality. If someone handed you one of these and asked you how much you thought it cost, I think you would say over a $100 and probably more. The weight and quality of the materials and finish is amazing. They are black chrome and as smooth and polished as a Rolex. The link shows $5.45 plus 50 cents shipping, as of today. Last week I bought them for $4.29 with free shipping. They are shipped from NJ and take about a week. Several sellers on AZ sell them but this one seems to be the cheapest and ships quickly from the US. I do not see how they do this. I have about 25 watches, including some expensive ones, and I often wear one of these rather than my usual Tag Carrera. Just my experience....but the first one I bought 11 months ago is still running perfectly on the original battery. There is no name or marking of any kind on the watch. If you get one please give your impression!

$0.50 shipping kills the deal. OK, you just convinced me to buy one. What the heck.

Received my Shshd today.

Clearly made for small chinese men's wrists. I can barely get it to the second notch. The two buttons don't actually do anything, the smaller hands do not move of course. The face is rotated off by about 3 degrees so "12" isn't facing straight up.

Don't really care. I just bought it to see if I can stand wearing a watch again before moving up to the Skagen that I want.

Crazy... Almost a year exactly and the battery died. Wore this watch as my daily driver (well, only) for that year and went to get it out of my "crap I have on me dish" and the battery was dead. It is now permanently 3:08am.

I think I earned my Skagen now.
