I finally got around to plopping in a new battery to my Swatch clone (it uses a regular 377) and it is working. We'll see how accurate it's time keeping is. My watch is getting outrageously expensive now as it's teetering on the edge of $7 total with the new battery I had to get....
You can get inexpensive replacements on eBay for pennies (some major name brands, or knockoffs: Maxell, Duracell, Sony) that work great.
They might be pennies *before* shipping. That will be hard to beat the $1.45 I paid for the Duracell replacement at Dierbergs. $7 is total watch price - $5+ for the watch; $1+ for the battery.
I ordered mine on Jan 30th. I haven't seen it yet. Should I be worried?
They sent me the wrong watch.
A watch I would only re-gift as a gag - that bad.
Now I get to see how their customer service is like.
Or maybe if I was dressing up as Evisin his latter years.

I haven't received anything yet. I'm calling my credit card company for a charge back.

That's cheaper than a battery, damn. I have a thing for watches too, this is going to bankrupt my loose change cup.
Uh, wtf is going on with this one?

This watch is available on Amazon for $4-$5 with free shipping from the US. I have bought about a 20 of them for gifts as they are remarkably high quality. If someone handed you one of these and asked you how much you thought it cost, I think you would say over a $100 and probably more. The weight and quality of the materials and finish is amazing. They are black chrome and as smooth and polished as a Rolex. The link shows $5.45 plus 50 cents shipping, as of today. Last week I bought them for $4.29 with free shipping. They are shipped from NJ and take about a week. Several sellers on AZ sell them but this one seems to be the cheapest and ships quickly from the US. I do not see how they do this. I have about 25 watches, including some expensive ones, and I often wear one of these rather than my usual Tag Carrera. Just my experience....but the first one I bought 11 months ago is still running perfectly on the original battery. There is no name or marking of any kind on the watch. If you get one please give your impression!

Received my Shshd today.
Clearly made for small chinese men's wrists. I can barely get it to the second notch. The two buttons don't actually do anything, the smaller hands do not move of course. The face is rotated off by about 3 degrees so "12" isn't facing straight up.
Don't really care. I just bought it to see if I can stand wearing a watch again before moving up to the Skagen that I want.
