Went back today and found the Memorex Personal CD Player (Model Number MD3025) for $14.94 and the Lexar Digital Film Reader (Compact Flash and Smart Media) for $14.94.

I just got Tasco Luminova 660 Telescope for $25 (usually $99)
It has been $49 for a week or two.
Kinda nice for kids, although I must warn you that the manual is really crappy.
Took me more than an hour to set it up and then it rained for 2 days, so I haven't been able to try it yet.
Still have a lot of them left here at Tempe, AZ
Also managed to snag the last CCD-TR517 for....$111.23 after tax (30% off $148, sweet)
and Fantom Lighting canister for 72.44 + tax. (was $289)
Try a less crowded Target for a better deal.

Looks like they don't sell em' here in the east coast. Checked VA and NC stores but none carry tape backup drives.

I think I just got lucky finding the tapestor. I've never seen any Target around here carry anything like that before. I'm sure it was something that was sitting around their stockroom.

I still didn't have any luck on those VCRs. =) They had a Philips for 99.99 but I think that the sku ended in 611 not 411. They did have 1 Toshiba and 1 Mitsubishi on their clearance shelf, but they were both floor models and didn't have remotes and were not marked down much.

I did notice that they had Kodak 100 speed film, 24 exp. for 50% off, and I saw some Lifestyles brand condoms boxes for $5.

The box states "Fantom Lightning". To get to the sku decal, turn the box upside down. It's located at the bottom of the box. Go for it. A great vacuum.

Funeral, the only thing I can tell you is go to another store to see if they have the vcr's.

I went to 2 Target's today but didn't see anything worth buying. I did notice a few more vcr's (another RCA-gold color, and a Panasonic-model # has 4020 in it), webtv units and keyboards, dish network systems and an HP Computer went 1st markdown (only 15%). Electronics dept was a mess as they are rearranging everything.

Something I forgot to mention last week was they have I-Jam mp3 players on clearance as well as Olympus digital voice recorders. Only 15% though. Next week they should go to 30%. I also saw some ceiling fans that were 30% off. They must have marked these Friday.

Something else to watch is the Tide liquid laundry detergent in the 200oz bottle with Tide kick attached. Some stores already have this 75% off. I didn't scan the 200oz bottles WITHOUT the Tide kick so I don't know if they are on clearance too.

I also saw them putting out 2 different packages (mens & womens) that contained 10 disp razors and shaving gel. These were Gillette packages that had Good News Razors for men and Daisy razors for women. Only marked 30% off.

Whoever went into the Target on Downey & South and bought the cameras I posted FESS UP! I'm not surprised they were gone (even though they've been there forever) after I posted the REAL price. Don't you just love Target stores that don't mark their clearance merchandise!

Man you guys must have some large Targets near you. I'm away at school and the local Target isn't like the one we have back at my hometown (a Target Greatland). This one doesn't have ceiling fans or whole computers or anything like that.

Is the Fantom Lightning Vacuum a canister or an upright? There were no canister vacuums at all at the Target here.

The Fantom Lightning is a canister model. Not all stores carry them.

The computers were brought in around X-mas but not all stores carried them. The stores didn't get many, 1 or 2 that's it.

While you are picking up clearance items at Target, don't foget to check the sporting goods dept. per this thread. I didn't find any of the bikes listed at my local Target last week but found several this week. Guess they didn't get around to putting them together until now...

Concering the a price that ends in ".00" -- What do you do if it's a Vacuum Cleaner?? My local Target has a Fantom Cleaner (not canister) that rings up at exactly $175.00. Another Target only had the display of it (missing HEPA Filter) and it rings up at $43.94!!!!! Clearly the first store is screwed up. I tried talking to the Ladies at the Customer Service Counter and they simply wouldn't budge on the price. Is that cleaner gonna sit there forever???

Incidentally, this Fantom model is NOT the X2 or the Fantom Fury. It is also not a canister model. It's the Fantom Thunder! $43.94!!! But not at my local store!

Also, heh heh, I found this Vacuum under a price scanner. Clearly another Anantecher had been there first and gave up when it scanned at $175.00 .. he/she didn't even bother to put it back! Lazy!

All three of those are good deals! Note that the Toshiba Models do not play CDR, and the Philips DVD Player does not play PAL VCD's on NTSC Televisions. Philips players do play CDR though.

The SD-5109 has a built-in Dolby Digital Decoder, so to make use of that feature, be sure to have a Dolby Digital "Ready" receiver. If you don't, you'll need to buy one to hear the difference. If you already have a Dolby Digital Receiver, then go with one of the $100 units.

Atrac, I'm not sure I understand your question but some items do end in ".00". If you're asking for one store to price match another Target, good luck! Target will not price match another Target on clearance merchandise.
