More free Razors

I saw a commercial to check your Sunday paper (4/24/05) for a coupon for a free Gillette Sensor razor.

Mach 3 was much better than Sensor, Mach 3 Turbo is noticably better than Mach 3 original
But I think the people who notice the most have faces with sharp lines and edges, not pudgy or smooth - they could probably deal with the sensor, but not me

I've been using that Quatro I got for free last week and find it to be no better than the Mach 3 Turbo I've used for the last few years. I'm gonna stick with whichever has cheaper blade refills every time I got to the store for more.

I have a question: I usually shave only once a week, so I'm wondering how long are you supposed to keep these razors before they go bad?

I usually throw them away after 2 months, or 8 shaves, but I"m thinking that that's too long. How long do you guys keep your razors?

LOL yeah I still have my quatro in its box cause I'm too scared to use the damn thing. I get a pimple once in a while and I bet that thing would bulldoze any crater. oouch

Once a week?

Been shaving once a day since I was 16. (Or at least I need to... ) I usually keep my blades for at least 2 months (60+ shaves) I almost always shave right after I shower so my beard is pre-softened.

I currently use the Quattro, also have a Mach 3 and both seem to do about the same.

Hmm just did some math, I have been shaving for 30+ yrs. probably averaging 250 shaves per year (I sometimes grow a beard for a couple of months) so that's 7500+ shaves... Man if I'd known what I was starting when I began shaving....
