Do you use the -local or just use two folders for fah? also what about running as a service?
You have to use -local AND create 2 folders. Run each instance with -local (otherwise it'll pull the client id info from the single entry in the registry and that'll mean both processors will always get and try to run the same work.dat). You should be able to use FireDaemon to run it as a service (I noticed they now have the XP version of FD available )...
