I have two computers in my house, both with PC Power & Cooling Silencer 80mm case fans. Mine has three in it, my wifes has four. They've been in for almost a year, and my computer is on 24/7. None of them died yet, but the 92mm fan in my 2CoolPC Plus died after four months, and it went into service as soon as the PC Power & Cooling Silencers did. Southbay Engineering, incidently, replaced my 2CoolPC Plus . Ericd I had absolutely NO problems with the pins on the connectors (of the PC Power fans), although I did wish they had the pass-throughs. In their favor, however, is the longest damn wires I've ever seen on a fan.
They are a hell of alot quieter than the average Sunon or YS Tech 80 MM,and they push a decent amount of air. In fact, using the PC Power & Cooling Silencer case fans, with real grills on the fan openings (after taking my trusty Dremel tool to the case), and using foam gasket tape isolate the fans form the case, they are not only quieter, but they are cooling my wifes computer (which was mine beefore I rebuilt it and gave it to her) than the same box with the stamped fan openings and the damn noisy Sunons. Are they really pushing 28 CFM? I doubt it, but I'ld use them again in a heartbeat. Hell, I may try the Panaflos.
