I watched an interview with Trump and his disposition on war was from a very humble stance. He knows all too well that he would be sending people in harms way. I think the reason some people think this about Trump on pushing the "red button" is that he's a very flamboyant person with a boat load of vigor. But I can assure you. If Trump is elected, we are going to Iraq and Syria.

I don't even know what to say about this other than holy shit.
The only thing left to do is laugh at you, your posts, and your fears.

You seriously need to spend some time away from the internet, go out and experience the world.

Do you even know what Surveymonkey is? As you praise it as a legit polling firm on the level of the other main names

If we took the internet at face value, everyone on this planet would be dead at least a dozen times over, from all the death threats posted.

If any of you are scared at the possibilities of this SurveyMonkey poll, please, please get yourself a damn life!

1 in 3 believe in the rapture.

Or how about transubstantiation? The act of saying a few Latin incantations really turns an ordinary wafer into the flesh of a carpenter that lived thousands of years ago.

Do they really believe in these weird things though? Like talking snakes? Or do they only temporarily choose to believe it for fun?

I mean when you go see Star Wars and you're engrossed in the movie you temporarily suspend disbelief for fun and for a brief moment. Some character really is in a lightsaber sword fight with Darth Vader. But then after you walk out you know none of that stuff really happened. You know it's not real.

I mean sure there is the oddball that can't discern reality from fantasy, like people who hate on actors that played a villainous role. But that's pretty rare. Or is it?

I think some people willingly turn off their critical thinking factor for fun and then forget to turn it back on. Kind of like when you turn off bluetooth and or wifi on your phone to save battery power, then when you need it you're reminded you have to go back into settings to turn it back on.

Maybe with some people they just automatically turn critical thinking back on and others don't. Mine seems to be on all the time without my having to do anything, yet I can still enjoy a good fictional book or film.

I never saw anyone post a death threat to begin with not sure where you're head is at right now.

1 in 3 believe in the rapture.

And THERE is the direct connection.
Trump supporters believe their lives have become so pathetic, become so rotten, and the world has gone totally to hell, that for them THE RAPTURE is the only hope.
And if voting Trump can hurry that along, amen.
Really.... Just look at these people, the Trump supporters.
They are miserable in their own lives. They believe everything has gone wrong in America with empowering the gays, the blacks, the illegals, and the hispanics.
Trump supporters believe the minorities have taken over. That all is lost.
So why wait for God to fix things?
Why not just shoot off the nukes and hallelujah, heaven here I come.

My family thinks this way.
Holy-roller Christians that feel trapped in a world they can't understand. Shocked by gays getting married, Muslim women wearing head scarfs at Walmart, Hispanics using food stamps at Walmart, and God forbid a black man as president.
Surely, these are the signs of the biblical end of time.
Their only problem.... why the hell is it taking so damn long?
Why does not the trumpets sound, the skies part, and up we go into paradise?

Well, maybe Trump can help things along.
And the sad thing I keep telling them, what if you keep voting stupid and no rapture?
What if things keep going down hill right here on earth?
What if Trump is elected, and society decays into something representing the movie BACK TO THE FUTURE II? Then what?
No trumpets, no heavenly music, no uplifting into the clouds, no rapture.
Just more poverty, greed, corruption, and wealth disparity?
So what then???

Trump feeds off the despaired. The lost. The disillusioned. Those that have no hope.
Trump knows, they can make him president.
And they probably will.

Happens all the time on other sites on the internet. Liveleak, Youtube, Worldstar comments sections just to name a few. You're insulated from all of that because you seemingly spend all of your internet time on these forums. Or you just plain forgot what you've seen on other sites.

Do you think that's not happening if Clinton is elected? Bahahaha!
We're going into further war, no matter which one is elected. She's not been called a hawk for no reason.

The definition of an adult here where I live is a person who is at least 18 years of age who is fully grown and fully developed. As I'm sure you are aware there are plenty of adults that act irresponsibly.

The definition of adult is not "one who acts responsibly" and it's certainly not "one who declines to visit certain sites on the internet".

That would probably explain a lot.

One does not have to act irresponsibly merely because they once visited a site where such behavior exists.
Indeed you don't. But then again you don't have to spend time reading the comments section of worldstar.

I wouldn't call that insulating yourself anymore than I'd call refraining from sticking your finger in random piles of dogshit insulating yourself.

I think we can both agree that spending much time there would be counterproductive. However I also think we can both agree that you must read their comments section to know what goes on there in order to know if you want to refrain from spending much time there.

Observing how some humans behave is far from playing with canine excrement. If I've told you once I've told you a billion times. Don't exaggerate.

Yes, I know what surveymonkey is. You do realize they do election polling in addition to the tool you are probably familiar with, right? If you don't think they are a real pollster then you might want to inform fivethirtyeight as to your findings, haha.

I always find your level of personal dislike for someone you've never met amusing, by the way.

I thought you were actually referring to someone on this site and this thread actually.

Sorry if that went woosh.

Not actually following along is actually your modus operandi not mine, actually. Ask not for whom the woosh bell actually tolls, it actually tolls for thee.

You're a funny little disappointment, but I've come to expect that.

I should have known better than trying to explain it to you.
