12 volts is nothing though - I mean again if you lick a battery and get that tingling feeling that's 9 volts so 12 is only a bit more than that. They can provide high maximum amps, but the thing that hurts you is the current flowing through your body and the body's resistance is high enough that 12 volts will only cause a small amount of current to flow. I’ve got a battery operated rechargeable jump start thing…Noco. 12V, 1000 amp output. I imagine that’d wake you up, esp if one of the higher output models.
