I don't think anyone is against tacking the big picture issues, but you have to start somewhere. Trump is more than a symbol, he is a amplifier. It is a good place to start. From there we have to work on solutions to the other problems, but we can't get anywhere while we are lead by someone that is is trying to make it worse for personal gain.

Don't want to watch the video. But, people have been harming each other since the beginning of time. How many people did Genghis Kahn kill? Over 40 million. This is a sad case, but it's not going to stop me from visiting New Zealand and much of the world.

I was on a plane flying from China to Bangkok Thailand a few years ago. I was the only American. The plane was filled with mostly Muslims. I sat next to a Muslim man, and he was the nicest guy. We talked a bit about religion. He was doing business in China, and was flying back home to Pakistan. He noticed that I was a scared flyer, and he reassured me that flying was safe. Had a great flight, and I told myself never again will I worry about someone because of their religious beliefs. What a stupid thing to do.

I will go further. If you are in favor of allowing people (yourself included, obviously) to own guns to protect you from other people, then you are part of the problem. We have to disarm the populace, even government employees. Until we do, we are the enemy.
