Again, that does not disagree with what I have said. What I am pushing back against is Trump being seen as the majority of the issue here, when clearly he should not be. We have larger underlying problems not only here in the US, but, around the world. I do not see any real focus on those issues, but instead the focus is on the symbols.

So while removing symbols needs to happen, I worry that people will think that once they are gone all is solved. Much like electing Obama made people complacent to many issues.

There’s a ton of conspiracy for sure but the underlying feeling of persecution is understandable. It’s become culturally acceptable to demonize people based on skin color.
