I am primarily a PC user, so all of my picks are for PC (though some are multi-platform)... sorry!

Personally, I am most excited about The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. As the first more open-world Witcher title, and the conclusion to the trilogy, I think it has a lot of potential. I appreciate some of the more traditional RPG mechanics in the Witcher games over The Elder Scrolls.

Other titles that I think have a lot of potential for 2014 include:
Watch Dogs
Thief
Galactic Civilizations III
Sacred 3
Divinity: Original Sin
The Banner Saga
Neil Gaiman's Wayward Manor
Jane Jensen's Moebius
Deus Ex: Human Defiance (if it releases in 2014)
Guillermo Del Toro's inSane (this one has a strange history and will be interesting to see how it comes along... but I am hopeful that it will execute what they're trying to do well)

I am hoping that Destiny eventually comes to PC, but that hasn't been confirmed yet... in lieu of that, Tom Clancy's The Division is the only MMO-esque game that I am hopeful for. I think we _might_ see GTA 5 on PC in 2014 or 2015 as well.

The only racing game I'm interested in for PC is The Crew... we'll see if/how they incorporate heists... which is something I think could be a very fun mechanic. It might be good or bad, so it'll be interesting to see what happens with it.

Dark Souls always looked like it would be amazing, but I just never got it. Way too many good games out nowadays. I remember the 90's where the pool of the highest quality was much smaller. There are small teams making amazing games. I think I logged 150 hours on Rogue Legacy. Just beat round #2 last night. My back log of stuff to play is way too long. :'(

Believe thats true. Although, there were about 4 persona announcements all at the same time, so they are all running together in my head

Some of the persona stuff was getting released this year though.

I can honestly say I've never wanted to own any rhythm or idol games before, but I'm sort of curious about the p5 one coming out, in spite of that :whiste:

Watch dogs, second son. Not sure what the big deal with destiny is, didn't look too interesting to me. I think there is a beta so I'll try that.

The order also looks good. There are two horror games coming out too that I may check out for ps4 as well. After finishing outlast I think as much as I hated grinding through that game because it was freaky, it was an interesting experience.

Honestly, this looks like a fairly weak year, especially compared to recent ones.

Sure there'll be good games here and there, but overall "meh". That's especially frustrating with brand new hardware on the shelves.

That's always the case with new hardware. It takes a few years to ramp up with the great exclusives but there are still some great games coming out this year.
