Christ, ugh!
Our tents were filled with those at boy scout camp. They are fairly harmless.

Also depending on the type of spider, the babies hang out on the mother's back for a while.

Oh God those green canvas tents at Boy Scout camp had the nastiest bugs, spiders, whatever else up in the top corners of them. Man i would hate seeing those things above me at night trying to sleep.

Spiders are just spiders. What REALLY freaks me out continually are house centipedes. They aren't "cute" (not my word, what the hell is cute about a thing with 100 legs?), are brown, have long antennas and run everywhere. Sometimes I'm in the living room and they just sit on the ceiling for 6 hours before making a move. Funny story once. In the living room, I saw a half-size hourse centipede trapped in some spider web under the TV table. The spider came and duked it out for a while; the spider won. I was pretty disappointed considering the centipedes are suppose to eat household insects. That one sure failed at life.
And there's also that huge black beetle that I've seen, and I have no idea how it got inside (duh).

Dude. I see house centipedes ONCE in awhile.....but when you can sit on your couch and be amused by a fight between a spider and a centipeded, all while wondering where that new big black beetle may be....well my friend, you need to call Orkin!
