Aside from that break-dancing and gymnastics for me. I just got into those over the last year and it is really amazing some of the things that people have doing it for years can do.
I really wish there was more adult oriented gymnastics training.
For me, it's biking. Nothing better than plotting out a 25 mile route on Google Earth, and then exploring roads and countryside I've never seen before. Extremely refreshing.
I won't list sports, because I do that for fun, not for exercise. Of the stuff I do primarily for exercise, I'd say I enjoy pull-ups the most. I'm not sure why, but I think after not having been able to really do them for most of my life, it's kind of a cool feeling to be able to hoist your own body while hanging. Pushups, by comparison, are quite dull.
That's about it, I can't stand non-sports cardio. I've started to see various animal shapes in the rock formations in my backyard, as I stare at it for 40 fucking minutes every day on my elliptical machine. It absolutely bores me to tears. I can really relate to that story in Stephen King's Just After Sunset lately
I am driven by the fear of letting my team down and the selfish want to the be the best. In knowing that, all of my energy is converted into becoming the best I can be at team sports. In turn, I stay in shape.
