Their schedule was ridiculous.. they squeeked by a good Ohio St. team early in the season. The Big 12 conference is weak from top to bottom, except for a "good" Texas team. Even Texas Tech was overrated.. Sure they can light up the scoreboard, but they cannot stop anyone..

USC will show Texas how much of a team they really are, and bring them back down to reality.

yeh, everytime I hear how SEC is stronger than PAC-10 I never see any ranking nor head-head matchups proving/disproving that apparently computers are biased towards SEC

and btw only a SEC homer can think a team that hasnt lost in almost 3 years is overrated

Yes, they are overrated. They play in the Pac-10. If there was a playoff system they wouldn't have been undefeated these past few years.

Look, USC has a great team, but to act as if Auburn last year, or UT this year can't play with them is silly. USC's defense is nowhere near what it was in 03 or even 04, and everyone knew OU was a fraud after the year before when they blew it in the Big 12 Championship game.

USC has a historical game, but for people to make threads saying they can beat NFL teams is absurd!

It still makes me angry to think about Auburn not getting the chance to play USC last year. Now THAT would have been a fvcking game. Not only did Auburn have a ridiculous defense, but two kickass RBs, and Campbell was doing pretty good.

USC last year still had the 2 better running backs, obviously the better QB, and better recievers too. Not only that, but their defense was ranked in the top 5. Auburn didn't stand a chance.

Uh...If I had to compare the two together, Id say they are equal. Sure, Bush is better overall, but both Brown and Williams went in the top 5 of last years draft, and both 1st string NFL running backs.

Ok..but..uh..Auburn actually edged them out in total defense, the very category that you were implying USC was top 5 in.

Auburn also ranked 2nd in pass effiency, and higher in rushing offense, although not by much.

However, to say that Auburn would not have been a far better matchup with USC than Oklahoma was, is crazy. Oklahoma's secondary was considered one of their major weaknesses BEFORE the game...during the game it was obvious.

no, I am not saying that , Auburn was a very good team last season and were unlucky to be left out, I am just saying USC's defense was pretty good as well.

Actually Auburn are a very good team this season as well, atleast down the stretch, I would have loved to seen Auburn vs Penn State, that would have been an intriguing match up

I think USC is a little overrated, BUT they have to be pretty good to beat the crap out of teams like they have. The same goes for Texas.

That said, I fvsking HATE USC and hope Texas mops the floor with them.

Poor LSU finally crumbled in the end. They will probably be punished by Miami in the Peach Bowl.
