I once drove to Canada while in college in search of Canadian bacon. I came back disappointed.
probably because you didn't try some peameal bacon which is considered Canadian Bacon.

That's been proven false. There's absolutely no reason to let meat come to room temp. That's not to say that people still won't preach that as gospel. They heard it somewhere so it must be true!

From what I understand, it takes forever for your normal thick steak that you cook at home to come to room temp. I can't imagine how long it would take something thicker like a biscuit to reach room temp.

I've had spicy cod soup with cod eggs and milt too many times to count. I always preferred cod eggs to milt and thought milt was cod intestine because it sort of looked like it. Now I know I was eating cod sperm. Nice!

One of the places I'm going to in NYC later this month serves shirako as one of omakase offerings. Somewhat excited but not really.

I guess it'll be my first top-tier experience. It'll definitely be the most expensive experience so far.. Haven't had it at Nakazawa, Nozawa, Yoshizumi and Ju-Ni.

You should be able to go to any korean tofu soup restaurant in LA and order spicy tofu roe soup. If you're lucky, it might include some milt with the tofu and roe. You can also go to pretty much any korean restaurant and order spicy fish roe soup and it will have chunks of fish roe which look like tiny penises and some milt which look like intestines. I love good spicy fish roe soup. It's one of my favorites.

Koreans will eat anything from the ocean. And they don't waste any parts. Everything gets eaten, preferably raw dipped in spicy pepper sauce. They eat Stingray fish liver raw. How many places on earth can you even find that? And they eat raw spoon worm (penis fish). But if you're seafood lover, Korea is heaven.

So I just ate 2 packs of instance ramen noodles (Mama brand from Thailand) and they were ok. I haven't eaten them for a few months and I won't eat them again for a few more months.

I would agree with poutine but Asada fries would probably be in the same category and Asada fries are awesome. So I'm torn.
never had poutine before uk dont sell potuine in the wtf does it taste like? gravy and chips? why is it could poutine? 'pooteen'
