It's for people who love food. If you're meat and potato guy, it might gross you out. You just don't know what you're missing out on. Ignorance is bliss.this thread is getting gross.
It's easier if you're $100k elitist.I'm a food connoisseur
this thread is getting gross.
Seriously, Im crossing Korea off the list of places I want to visit.
Being an Indian, I don't understand the fuss for Biryani. I hate every biryani that I've had at any Indian restaurant.
The biryani that my mom makes on the other hand.
the worst ever is headcheese.
Probably want to cross Asia off. Africa too. Germany, Hungary, Austria, France, Iceland, Scotland, England, Finland, etc.Seriously, Im crossing Korea off the list of places I want to visit.
I once drove to Canada while in college in search of Canadian bacon. I came back disappointed.
I enjoy it also, but I always roll my eyes when I see the ridiculous pumpkin stuff that gets released. I tolerate it since it emphasizes my favorite time of year, and it goes away soon enough.I'm surprised I haven't seen "pumpkin spice" (contains no pumpkin ... it's just the seasoning used in pumpkin pies to make it taste OK)
I like several of the "pumpkin spiced" items, like donuts, but the trend keeps growing into more odd uses every year.

no, that is not what I meant.Headcheese is overrated? Do you understand the meaning of the term "overrrated"? Can't say I've heard anyone singing the praises of headcheese in the last ... well, EVER. I don't see it on menus in restaurants where all the servers have tattoos, nose rings and man buns. No, I don't think headcheese is very high on many foodies' radar.
This has devolved into a "what food do I hate" thread. Big surprise... People from different cultures find different foods to be wonderful or revolting.
You just threw in strawberries to see if anyone was reading your posts, right?
Haha. Hell no... WAY overrated. And I'm a huge fruit fan. They're alright, I don't hate them, but man there's way too many strawberry flavored things.
Fruit that is way better than strawberries: Granny smith apples, pineapple, kiwi, concord grapes, apple/asian pears, papaya, blackberries, raspberries, etc.
That's a good point, I'm used to the typical US ones. I've had wild strawberries and ones fresh from the farm and while they're ok, like I said, highly overrated. I'll have to keep in mind to try and find some from other countries, that's a good idea! You need to try strawberries from other countries. It's not all the same. US strawberries are usually little sour and finding sweet ones are difficult even in peak season. Strawberries in Korea and Japan are so much better. If you ever visit, try the strawberries there if it's in season. I think you'll be shocked at the flavor difference. You'll realize this is what strawberries are supposed to taste like, sweet and juicy. Not sour and bland like US strawberries. Of course, you'll pay arm and a leg for any fruit there. But things like strawberries are worth the extra price.
M&M are digusting. Have you tried sucking on the chocolate and checked out the peanut? 10/10 the peanut is burnt or fried. Taste so fatty.
