Monopoly is the most popular board game other than chess . . .

Also from Google, Tetris seems to be the "world's most popular video game" (50 million sold) . . . (Snake for mobile platforms since most Nokia phones have it)

CS for PC gaming.. I'd tend to believe..

Yeah it'll have to be Counter Strike and The Sims. No way BF1942 and WC3 can even get close to CS and Sims' sheer number of audience in their life time. Also I think Mario 64 is the best selling video game of all time? I could be wrong, but otherwise it could be up there as well. Pong and Pac Man are considered since they've been around for more than 3 decades.
