Most reliable s939 MB's

My wife is finally entering the 21st century and requires an upgrade for her PC. She currently runs a 1.2 GHz Tulatin. Normally I would build myself a new rig and give her my old one, but unfortunately the motherboard I currently use is not reliable enough for her. It has a nasty habit of forgetting which drive is the boot drive.

From your experience, what s939 non-SLI motherboard motherboard has absolute bulletproof reliability? It doesn't need to overclock, it will just run stock.

I have had a MSI K8N Neo-4 Platinum for about 2 years now, and i have never had a problem with the MOBO, and problems i have had came from overclocking the chip. I have abused this motherboard, flashed many BIOS's to it, ran every voltage and settings that it offers. I changed to a Foxconn SLI (NF4SK8AA) board (hoping to run SLI sometime) and within 2 months i had killed the board, went back to the trusty MSI K8N and everything booted wonderfully. I have ran 6 harddrives, 6 casefans, and 4 sticks of ram in it with no problems detecting anything.

I second that mobo - ran one for a while and was always perfectly stable with zero issues. Easy to use, tons of connectors with 2 IDE and many SATA

I'll have to throw in the DFI NF4-DAGF. I've had one running nearly 24/7 365 for about 2 years with 0 issues. I've had three HDDs go out in it, a 6200 and I had the fan on a factory heatsink go out and it ran for about 4 hours with the cpu throttled to about the speeds of a 386, replaced the fan and booted up like nothing ever happened.

I bought a used K8N Neo4 Platinum almost a year ago and it's been working great.

I'll throw in the Asus A8N-e, which has been performing htpc duties for me 24/7 for about the last year. Handles 3 HD's, DVD, 2 PCI tuner cards. I'll reboot about once a month, or when power goes out here in FL. I can't complain about it's performance/cost ratio, since it was an openbox Newegg item that was cheap.
