IndyJaws

Really have no order but these are the ones that stick out the most.

I would also like to nominate the TeAm as a whole. Everyone here, regardless of the project they do, keep me coming back!

i'd have to say:

mastertech01 - bought the d2ol team from zero to almost hero (and creating his home crunchers)
meremortal - contributing to all the other projects other then seti
smokeball - creating a kickass seti team and helping to maintaining TA dignity <sp?> by bringing cheaters to light

You know, at first, I saw this thread, and said, 5? shouldn't we each just vote for one? Then I tried to narrow it down to five, and realized that I couldn't..

So, at the risk of alienating the hundreds of deserving folks, I'll go with:

1. SmokeBall (what else can i say that hasn't already been said)
2. LANMAN (umm...100+ Wu's a day and putting a bunch of cash and time into Beowulf)
3. GeoffS (for sticking with the d2ol project for the glory of TA)
4. MereMortal (for all the work he does and for TACO)
5. Robor (because 117K (and counting) wu's can't be wrong)

Gosh, it's so hard to limit this to just 5 votes. I'd almost rather not vote at all than leave off deserving members. Anyway, here's my list...

**********
Smokeball -- IMO, hands down the most dedicated SETI TeAmmate and most deserving of the MVP.
m0ti -- For his efforts with the DF project.
mastertech01 -- For his efforts with the D2OL project.
Hellburner -- For his long-running daily SETI stats most of us are addicted to.
OhioDude -- For his daily SETI milestone and excellent commentary posts.
**********

That list is far from complete and I apologize to the deserving members who aren't there. So many different people from different places doing different projects. This TeAm is just awesome!

I'd like to thank everyone who voted for me. I've always considered myself a "veteran grunt" of the team and I'm truely honored that some of you feel I deserve a nomination. That said, I feel many others are more worthy.

after a long and hard year on this TeAm I'd have to say that these are my five picks for MVC:

Smokeball - one of the reasons the Seti@Home increased production so much this year;
MereMortal - for his work on the ECCp-109 project, for his DC repository page and for TACO;
m0ti - for his wonderful work on the Distributed Folding project;
mastertech01 - for his encouraging posts and advise on the D2OL project;
Chipster22 - in every small DC project we can find his name and his work, for raising awareness to the small DC projects;

I apologise to people like jliechty, Robor, networkman, fobot, LANMAN, Geoffs, Engineer, RaySun2Be and dmcowen674 for just missing out on my personal picks.

Smokeball.....simply the best in SETI. A personal thanks to Smokie for all he does.

OhioDude - A great Buckeye....er.......Race Keeper! Right behind Smokeball...great commentary!

CkG....A great queue operator...saved me and a few other TeAmmates several times. Kicks my but in UT2k3 too!

Crazee.....a great TeAm player and motivator. Some say he's even a spy! :Q

RaySun2Be....A great friend. I hope you get a job soon Ray....hate to see you sell the cane!

Too many others to list including Hellburner, OK, Robor, MasterTech, many, many more!

Thinking of the others.......

P.S. Thanks for the votes for me....but an apology to my dissapearance for the last couple of months. I'm going through a very difficult time and still don't even know what I'm going to do. I have almost cried from the pressure lately.....hopefully, the new year will change things.

Thanks for the thread ViRGE!

and....for all the DC TeAms....a big PHAT

more...more....more! :Q

Its hard for me to vote. I haven't been around much until just the past few months. And I have only ran a few projects so I don't know what all everyone does and who deserves what. But I do know I put a vote behind MereMortal. For TACO of course, but also for the stats of ECCp, and setting them up for D2OL and SB. Oh yeah can't forget his great site.

As others have mentioned there are so many people who do so much for all the projects that make up TeAm AnandTech naming but a few is difficult. For those who host a Q, run stats, keep track of milestones & races, organize races, host a team web page or stats site, post in the forums and keep it lively, and all the other endless tireless efforts made in behalf of and for our TeAm ............

THANKS!!!!!!

Thanks to everyone who voted for me. I'm truly honoured.

Umm, I still need to think about this; so hard to choose 5 people out of so many wonderful teammates.

This is way to hard to point out just 5, so first the 5 top on my list!!

Engineer For his relentless drive to recruit (HE finally made me look in here last January)
Smokeball For for his unwaving dedication to stats and welcoming new members.
Ohio Dude For his promoting and setting up races and stats. ( Also the very best commentary on the Net)
Crazee For being such a great helper and all 'round good friend
Soni for the best stats keeping on everything ( especially the MTR's)

Next the Team mates that should be in the top 5 also

Confused for helping out all the time and even hosting my pics on his server
CADkindaGUY for spending all night up to help me set up my Queue and being a very goog friend.
RaySun2Be for his red rascal rider and can wielding , also for his sense of humour
LANMAN for his dedication to the "Enterprise"
Micron, HellBurner, Baldy18, networkman, micron, Pie Derro, Isos, Indy Jaws, Mastertech01, MechBgon, Robor, Shuxclam, Bot2600, dmcowen674,
and all others that escape me at this time

Every member of the TeAm in all Projects is worthy of a mention.
It is a real HONOR to be part of this Extremely compassionate and possibly friendliest TeAm anywhere!!

Ps: Best wishes to ALL and may the New Year bring Health and Peace to all my TeAm mates!

Networkman - Have to love that license plate.

all are good nominations, I would like to add GeoffS for his incredible boost to our ECCp & then D2OL teams~!

I've only been involved in the SETI project, so I'll probably look a little biased in my recommendations. I'm with Robor. There are so many great people in the project, that I'm afraid of leaving deserving people off. I'll give it my best shot, though. These are in no particular order (how's that for a cop out ):

1. Smokeball - Great job welcoming folks, giving encouragement and he really knows what the hell is going on
2. OhioDude - I have never come to this forum without first checking out his stats and commentary
3. Soni - great stats and great info
4. Robor - because he 0wnz us!
5. All the rest of you freaks - because without all of you, this wouldn't be the best damn TeAm in cyberspace!

This won't be easy for me since I am mostly geared toward seti and my voting will show it:

Smokeball (TeAm stats guru and overall great guy)
OhioDude (what would the mornings be without a good laugh with my first cup of coffee, commentary cannot be beat)
Engineer (even though he likes UK )

TeAm members who support more than one project (something I can't seem to do), TeAm members who work daily to keep lazy members (a.k.a. me) informed of our position relative to other teams
