Motherboard and memory question

When searching out the motherboards and memory listed here
January 2007 Buyer's Guide: Midrange Menagerie

I came across this warning on the motherboards specifications on newegg:

Notice: Only DDR2-800 memory supporting JEDEC approved 1.8V operation with timings of 5-5-5 or 6-6-6 is supported on Intel Desktop Boards based on Intel 965 Express Chipsets.

Since none of the memory list the same numbers listed in the notice,
How much does this affect me since I will be putting together a system using the guide above?

Other Thoughts: This motherboard, out of the box, will only recognize RAM that can run on 1.8 volts. If your RAM does not work at 1.8 volts, you will need to either get different RAM or borrow some that does, change the BIOS to provide more volts, and then put back in your >1.8v RAM. Hopefully a BIOS revision will fix this but I don't think you can flash the bios without already having working RAM

This is from a review of the Gigabyte DS3 motherboard most people are using.
Will this actually be necessary if I use the Super Talent DDR2 800 recommended, I ask because it is 2.2V.
there doesn't seem to be many options of 1.8V memory sticks out there

1.8V is the JEDEC spec. for DDR2 that most boards set by default.
If need be you can usually just install a single DIMM, enter the BIOS & increase the Vdimm setting to what is required, save & exit & shutdown.
Install 2nd DIMM & boot again.
