[MOTHERBOARD CHOOSE] ASUS Maximus V Gene or GIGABYTE GA-Z77X-UD5H LGA

I'm building a new CPU...
And it will be composed by:

core i5 3570
2x 4 GB 1600MHz Corsair Dominator
Radeon 7970 Black Edition Double Dissipation, from XFX - not OC at first, but probably in a year
2.0TB Seagate Green Barracuda HDD
PSU ATX 800W REAL CORSAIR GAMING GS SERIES
Case: Corsair 300R


The only question i still have is... wich motherboard?

Gigabyte UD5H is one of the best I have ever had, period. I am even a Gigabyte hater and I absolutely love this board.

@ OP, sounds like your decision has been made...but for edification you do realize you were comparing an ATX and mATX? Fair comparo IMO, but not entirely apples to apples. Not really sure why anyone would opt to want a mATX board in an ATX case.

Ah, I can answer that. For me, the mATX board did what I needed it to do for the $ I wanted to spend last year, and anticipating an upgrade one day (which will be this week ironically), I got a case that I knew would last for years, and future component upgrades. So the Extended ATX board (Maximus V Formula) board that should arrive this week will fit just fine in my 500R case.
